Prestigious chef Sergi Arola runs from last October the new restaurant that the architect Jean Nouvel has designed for the Museum of Art Queen Sofía of Madrid.
Arola has developed a new concept of restoration based totally on the Mediterranean kitchen, in exceptional atmosphere. Original plates during the day and sofisticated menus for the night are offered, accompanied with an excellent warehouse by more than 700 national and international wine references.
Among the most innovating characteristics, it emphasizes the illumination. Light is indirect and comes from the bars and the ground, giving an originality touch and distinction. In addition to this, in the tables there are wireless lamps, brought from Australia, that are used for the first time in Spain. In the distribution of the space the designers have devised an artificial topography that emerges from the ground and forms of subtle way sub-spaces that give answer to the necessities of the space. All the seats are of soft, comfortable and resistant, designed exclusive for this project.
David Fernandez Sanchez, one of the Dj most important of Spain, will contribute the most modern music during the nights.
